Renault Logan sets 71gCO2/km record

At this year’s Michelin Bibendum Challenge held in Shanghai, China, the Renault Logan eco² set a new low carbon emissions record of 71g/km for the event, covering the 172 km course on only 4.69 litres of diesel; equivalent to an average fuel consumption of 104 miles-per-gallon (mpg) or 2.72 litres/100km. Over the standard combined cycle tests for the vehicle, the Renault Logan also achieved a score of 97g of CO2/km, equivalent to fuel consumption of 74 mpg (3.8 litres/100km).
